Newsletter Summer 2014

Welcome to our summer newsletter. Recently we were delighted to help celebrate the 102nd birthday of one of our residents. We all feel very privileged to be looking after Jess; it is remarkable to reflect that she was born before the start of the First World War which the world is commemorating this month. We wish Jess many happy returns.

New sensory corridors

Our new sensory corridors feature highly visual primary colours and tactile displays specially designed to stimulate our residents with dementia. The ‘sensory walk’ has been created by our talented team of activity cordinators Sarah, Jan and Lynne, with a lot of hands- on help from Dominic our maintenance man! News in Brief

The Graham Care Awards celebration will take place on the evening of Friday 14 November at the Felbridge Hotel and Spa. The Awards celebrate the achievements of staff who are transforming the lives of people with dementia and physical frailty. Updates will be available on our website.
It is now very much easier to leave a review of Woodchurch House through an online form linked from our website to the Most Recommended Care service which links to both CQC and NHS Choices.
