Newsletter Summer 2014
Welcome to our summer newsletter. Recently we were delighted to help celebrate the 102nd birthday of one of our residents. We all feel very privileged to be looking after Jess; it is remarkable to reflect that she was born before the start of the First World War which the world is commemorating this month. We wish Jess many happy returns.
New sensory corridors
Our new sensory corridors feature highly visual primary colours and tactile displays specially designed to stimulate our residents with dementia. The ‘sensory walk’ has been created by our talented team of activity cordinators Sarah, Jan and Lynne, with a lot of hands- on help from Dominic our maintenance man! For more images of the sensory corridors visit the photo gallery on our website.
Activity coordinators Sarah and Lynne proudly show off some of their handiwork in our new sensory walk!
